When you win an award you usually get a trophy, but what about the agencies that land the winners of YoungGuns International? To them, the winners are the trophies. So we pitched a spoof matchmaking site that would help bring together established advertising executives and hot young Trophy Creatives. All while using as many double entendres as possible of course.
Spread the Word
To launch the matchmaking service spoof matchmaking profile videos of top Creative Executives tell you what they look for in a Trophy Creative. Informational brochures for the service/contest would also be sent out to top agencies across the world.
The hub of the campaign, BeTheTrophy.com, works just like a dating site. Young creatives can post their profiles and the YoungGun judges can do just that, judge. Awards are given and connections are made. Both leading to real jobs.
Make Some Matches
To further the networking potential, the site would offer compatibility quizzes to help you find out which top Creative Directors or agencies you would work best with. There is also a calendar with dates for local Speed Dating portfolio reviews sponsored by I Have an Idea.
